Living is Movement

Feb 15 2008

It is vital as you get older that you stay active to maintain health and wellbeing. At a time when the demands of life are slowing down it is natural to start thinking about taking it easy and resting a bit. However, now is the very time when you need to remind yourself to focus on staying active and vibrant.

Your vitality and longevity are directly linked to your ambition and willingness to exercise and remain active. It is also vital that you have a consistent sleep schedule that provides plenty of rest. Your body is changing all the time. Learn to listen to what it is telling you when you are feeling down or tired.

Avoid the urge to sit for endless hours in front of a television. Maintain active friendships that afford you the time and opportunity to get out and move about. The first step to living healthy is in learning to think healthy.
