The Illusion of Failure
You don’t really fail, nobody does. The concept of failure occurs when expectation meets result. As you go about your daily functions there are decisions to be made which lead to results as well as the incidental moments that are beyond the scope of your personal influence.
All of the results that are reality in actuality are neutral in nature. The designation of good or bad is a label that people place on these results based on their unique point of view or opinion. The result simply isn’t bad it’s how YOU view that result. Other people might see the very same result as good or of no interest and neutral to their life and needs.
So you see, you never actually fail. You might have an expectation conflict where your expectation of the outcome didn’t match the result in actuality, but that is only failure in your mind.
You may not reach the goal you set for yourself, but the measure and judgment of that result as a success or failure is a point of personal view and desire.
Once you comprehend this fact and grasp the concept that results are never failure you can get past the very aspect that holds so many people in a stagnant position. They sit for endless hours worrying about their perceived failures and misgivings while wasting valuable time that could have been used to get different results that they would consider to be better.
If you don’t like the results you are getting make different decisions that produce better results.
