Living is Giving

Mar 03 2008

One of the most interesting and enthusiastic people I have ever known was Steve Irwin, the famed Crocodile Hunter from Australia Zoo. It wasn’t that Steve had such a zest for life, but more that this living fire within was truly natural and honest.

Steve lived each day in the Fifth Reality or a living synergy with himself, other people, living creatures and all other living and non-living things. He had pure intent.

When you develop and maintain pure intent you no longer distract yourself with the superficial needs and desires. There is an honest and compelling desire to be supportive and caring.

This is what truly empowers you to greatness and success.

Most people live in a world of dog eat dog. They look at the world as a place where you claim your position and establish a point of control or you get swept along in the waves of humanity doomed to a random existence.

Their intent becomes self-centered and self-absorbing. They lose sight of the very standards and values that determine excellence and quality of living and in life result. The more they grab the further they get from their goals. In turn, that makes them grab even harder and for even more which pushes them further out of balance.

The pattern becomes a cycle that leads to an unfulfilling life.

Success came naturally to Steve Irwin. He was in natural harmony with creatures and people. He didn’t try to be in synergy, he just was. As a result his resonance spilled forth on the creatures and people he had contact with. In fact, just being around him pulled you up to his level of living vibrancy and excitement.

One of the programs I have shared for years is Living is Giving. In it there is a true look at self, empathy and harmony or balance with all living and non-living things. Several key points are:

  • Do you focus most often on self or others?
  • Do you give without expectation of any return?
  • Do you truly care for the wellbeing of your fellow man?
  • Do you watch over Earth and living creatures or abuse them?

How you feel about others, yourself and the living creatures around you determines your quality of existence. Smooth living and communication is achieved through balance and harmony.

In short, living synergistically with your fellow man and the environment around you helps you achieve your goals. If your scales are tipped in the wrong direction you may be keeping yourself from the very goals you desire the most.
