Deciding What Type You Are
There comes a time when each teenager must make some choices on vocation and career. These should be made with your parents and possibly the guidance counselor at your school if possible. These are important moments that will define the quality of your future.
You will want to go down the path toward a vocational choice and career that allows you to use your natural talents and skills. This will help you live a much more productive and fulfilling life.
First take into account your personality. Are you internal and shy or outgoing and friendly? Do you work well with people or do you prefer to work with machinery and computers?
You might want to determine your personality type with a personality inventory such as the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator ( MBTI ) which is available online and can be completed in about thirty minutes or so. Your answers are evaluated and then an explanation of your personality type is sent to you. There are two forms:
- Personality Type is a basic version.
- Humanmetrics is the longer, more specific version.
