Dreading Another Day
Mar 27 2008
It has always been fascinating to me how people, as they get older start to dread each new day as both a signal that they are actually getting older and nearing the end of life. They start to dislike the living process.
This is a pattern of thought that is completely counterproductive to living with happiness and fulfillment.
Life is now, it is in this moment and the cherished moments you have with your family and friends before either you or they are gone.
The sights, sounds, tastes, smells and feelings you have are such a valuable gift that are here one moment and then relegated into a neural imprint of memory.
- Accept that life is a progressive event.
- Learn to focus and live in the moment.
- Cherish your family, friends and days.
