The Person Next Door
When I was a child the pace of life and social patterns were so different than they are in today’s fast paced hurry up always on a schedule flow.
It was accepted, taken for granted that you usually knew your neighbors within close proximity to your home and certainly those next door in any direction.
A child freely played across the lawns and there was little thought of abduction or dangers beyond the occasional cut or scraped knee.
Look around you right now. How many of your neighbors do you really know well? When is the last time you made the effort to meet them?
Times haven’t changed, people have changed and lost contact with the values and moments that make life the memorable living experience.
Take a few moments to find out who the people are living around you. They are human beings too and have exciting lives that may serve to enrich yours.
