Taking Candy From a Baby

May 20 2008

As humans we are never more innocent or without hidden agenda than when we are infants just born into the world and without any cares other than pure comfort and hunger.

Babies are sweet because of these facts. Adults do not feel threatened or suspicious of an infant because the newborn holds no adverse potential for them. They are simply lovable little humans that are totally dependent on others for their wellbeing.

However, something happens as you grow up. You begin to represent a threat and mysterious potential of hidden thoughts and intentions.

At times other people will shy from you because they have inner doubts, insecurities and fears that cause them to fantasize about the potential harms and injustices that you might cause them.

These fears may be completely unfounded, but they exist nonetheless.

Learn to take some candy from a baby. Take on the sweetness of an innocent child by having an ongoing reputation of not holding to hidden agendas and thoughts or intentions of revenge or injustice.

Treat everyone you meet fairly and with respect and you will find that many more doors will open for you in life and that others will hold them open for you.
