Children Are Boats in a Wake
If you are a parent it is important that the quality of your example set the lowest standard for your children to follow.
Children are like little boats following in their parents wake. If the parents have strong character and quality attributes and follow a steady straight course in living the children can sail along behind them with ease.
However, if the parents are random and their living experience is filled with chaos their patterns will toss their children about in different directions as they experience the ripple effect of that chaos.
Generally this forces children to strike out on their own long before they are truly ready and also sends them off in random directions with little bearing on the proper course in life.
Help your children learn to navigate their way through the living experience and set a strong example of determined direction and course of living as a parent.
