Taking the Cream from the Top
One of the things I have noticed in recent years is a trend people have developed to be superficial when dealing with others and situations. They seem intent on getting just what they want and then moving on quickly.
In essence they want to skim the cream from the top of their human interaction, but don’t want to go deeper into the details and feeling associated by others with the situation.
They don’t really care how others feel only themselves and what they can get from the moment and personal interaction.
Such shallow thoughts and intentions rob one of the qualities of human interaction. I visit with and share feelings with my friends and family because I truly care. It is not an exercise in seeing what I can get from them in a moment and then moving on to the next unsuspecting person seeking a source of something I want or need.
If you view a person only for what they have to offer you there is a loss of who they are as a real person with thoughts and feelings. Each person is a gifted life born of a rare moment of conception and should be treated as the wonderful living experience that they represent.
