Doing the Impossible

Sep 01 2008

In the course of human development every great achievement was once considered impossible. Until someone succeeded in completing that task.

Often when I am addressing a group of people there is a moment when the room echoes with statements of “That’s too hard”, “I can’t do it” and “I just don’t have the time”.

Those I immediately look for are the people who put their head down and silently smile without saying a word. Those are the people who recognize these excuses as the tired old worn out misdirection’s of others as they try to divert attention away from their lack of commitment, focus and effort.

The “silent smilers” as I call them are the people who go out and find a way to do the impossible.

Then the people once full of excuses stare in amazement as they wonder how the achievers ever got those positive results. They are as clueless to the why as they were to the how.

If you even utter an excuse you far into the abyss of effortless stagnation. Train yourself to always look for the way to achieve ANY goal that you set no matter how impossible it may seem right now.

Soon you will be basking in the light of success while others wonder why and how you did it.
