Thought is Money
I just performed a simple experiment with 40 people to confirm a point I made to another group. I wanted to prove that thought patterns equal value, income and money.
This was nothing too scientific just a quick check to expose a pattern.
My contention to this group was that the way you think influences the way you choose to live and those lifestyle choices and their results define the income you make and the way you view the subject of money.
In essence, poor people think poorly and wealthy people think on a higher level of living quality.
So I randomly picked 20 people who are struggling to make a living and exhibit poor living quality patterns and decisions and 20 people that have a stable life with a good income and asked them each three questions. Here are the results of those answers.
What do you feel is your best attribute?
Poor Group - My eyes, butt, legs, personality, smile, that I am open minded, that I am a good friend.
Wealthy Group - The fact that I care about others, my knowledge and skills, my ability to reason well, good memory, that I am a hard worker, that I don’t quit.
What are the simple things that bring you pleasure in life?
Poor Group - A specific television show, my cell phone, playing the lottery, time off from work, having a beer with friends.
Wealthy Group - Family and friends, travelling to new places, watching my children grow, time with my spouse, a job well done.
If you could have anything in the world what would it be?
Poor Group - A million dollars ( or more ), no need for a job, a new home or specific vehicle, a lost relationship back, all my bills paid.
Wealthy Group - World peace, the ability to help others, a higher quality lifestyle for my family, the health of a sick loved one, to be fulfilled in life.
