How to Make Money

Sep 19 2008

No matter what you call it money, income, salary or any other form of value is the source of your financial wellbeing and the wellspring of a quality lifestyle, but remember it is not the basis of life.

There is a difference between living and making money. You are not making a living, but rather creating the living experience. You don’t make money, but instead tap into the source(s) that share economic value with you for your time and efforts.

Money is not the source of concern, value is. How much value YOU have to share with others and how much value THEY will provide for your time and effort stand as the major components of income.

Some people love what they do and will continue to do that function even if the return income is not so great. I commend them for their love of vocation, but they also must mentally be able to accept that their income will not increase dramatically because of this personal decision.

Others would do almost any function if the return income is good enough. They routinely switch career positions based solely on income and benefits.

Making money is not as difficult as many expect or believe it to be.

Opportunity + Decisions + Effort + Time + People Influenced = Results

Results - ( Public Perception and Motivation ) = Value

Value = Income Potential

To increase your income potential you must focus on improving your value to others and society. What you have to offer to others is far more important than mere words on a resume.
