Is Sarah Palin a Quitter
The recent coverage of comments made regarding the opinions that Sarah Palin was far over her head as a Vice-presidential candidate have struck a public note of interest.
Now I don’t know that much about Sarah Palin. In fact, most of my knowledge and exposure has been since she was named as a candidate, but judging from her personality I doubt if she will simply step down from the position as a candidate.
Personally I don’t feel she would even if she did realize that she was not the right person for the position. I’m sure Glen Beck would have something to add… what say Glen, listening? Give me a shout.
Oh yes, back to Sarah. Where is she right now?
Should she? I grew up from the Kennedy era and rarely have I ever thought about the qualifications of simply being picked as a running mate. I mean, why would I? Don’t those things just naturally take care of themselves as a politician garners years of public service?
Is being a mayor or a governor for a few years qualification for nomination for such a high office or are we simply splitting hairs here?
What do you think? You can make your feelings known so the thousands reading The Human Life Map Blogcast can see your opinion. If you don’t comment you can’t be heard.
Perhaps Sarah’s listening since our blog has been drawing at lot of national attention in the past week.
Thanks again to all our wonderful supporters and regular readers who stop by. Your time and opinions are very much appreciated. Your amazing support has helped us have a record breaking week.
Enjoy the entries from this week. See you on Monday morning!

Please don’t resign Sarah…You’ve helped the Democrats immensely and I love the e-mails I keep receiving about how utterly stupid you are.

I certainly think Sarah Palin’s experiences running city government and a state far outweigh the experience of Barak Obama and he is the Dem front runner on their ticket. That is scary to me. He hasn’t lasted more than a year or two at any job and has hardly set foot up in congress/ My own experience of running multi million dollar child dev programs and supervising over one hundred personnel at a time out does the experience Obama has had. Sarah Palin’s experience out shines mine, so yes, I think she is ready and Barak Hussein (dare I use his middle name) Obama definetely is not!!!!!!!!

Let’s consider our options for 2008 Presidential election WITHOUT even examining the candidates platforms…
First, we have Barak Obama…. little experience and a militant wife; good choice of VP running mate. Hillary Clinton would have been a better VP choice, but would could blame Obama for not wanting a strong VP (and her husband) constantly breathing down his neck and monitoring his every move , not to mention that Michelle doesn’t like her!
Next there is John McCain….lots of experience, too old to not consider death or onset of senility while in office, a very, very wealthy wife who has alot of class; a beauty queen choice for VP running mate.. Sarah Palin will be the cause of John McCain losing the election… she talks alot of words that have virtually no meaning because she is ignorant of issues so she really is “much ado about nothing”…she is not ready for such a political office and probably never will be! What was John thinking? Or mayybe we wasn’t thinking at all!

Sarah is no more qualified to be Vice-President than Obama is to be President. Either way, we’re screwed!

It is scarey to consider that Palin could be president if something happened to McCain. That is a serious issue, considering McCain’s age. McCain was playing games with American public when he picked her anyway, think he could attract Hillary voters. That is not good judgment for a president to practice. Together, the ticket spells disaster.

Sarah Palin makes a fine candidate for the Republicans. She has a strong record of fiscal irresponsibility. She left Wasilla, Alaska with a debt far larger than they can possibly afford. The ice rink she built, was erected on lands not owned by the city. As a result, the people of Wasilla had to foot the legal fees and court costs for acquiring the land rights before they could build. Sarah Palin has a habit of firing or dismissing people she does not like or who are not loyal to her whims. As an oil commission baron she no more rooted out corruption than the man in the moon. She takes credit for exposing people who were doomed to exposure regardless of her own actions. As Governor of Alaska, she named her Director of Agriculture based on her childhood love of cows. Yes, by all means, Sarah Palin is the best candidate to come along for Saturday Night Live and the Democrats. You go, Sarah, good luck at the debate thingy in St. Louis.
