Overcoming Job Downsizing
The economy is strained and lots of companies are reducing the pressure by downsizing and releasing people from their jobs, but you can bypass the money crunch with a few simple lifestyle revisions.
In the past few weeks the news reports have been littered with accounts of companies letting people go from their jobs. I have personally talked to quite a few people who have lost their income recently. Some have held these jobs for several decades and now don’t know where to turn.
If you are in this position I don’t have to tell you how confusing and hopeless the feeling can be when you haven’t been looking for a job in years and now you suddenly find yourself without any job and income.
The key to surviving this economy is to understand several points involving income.
- It is important to become self-reliant.
- It is vital to create multiple income streams.
- It is critical to understand the money / value difference.
Many of the people I have mentored recently are stuck in a work for a company job mentality. If there are no positions local to them they see no future for themselves.
We offer a free Family Wealth Course that helps to guide families through lifestyle and income improvement. If you and your family are in need of job, income or lifestyle change we invite you to take advantage of our free 30 day course offer.
Also take the time to subscribe to and watch my broadcasts on the new production of The Money News Network. If I sometimes look tired I am. With this economy and the demands of the families we mentor, three news/information broadcasts, two blogcasts and an intensive travel schedule my days are usually 15 hours minimum.
Also, I’d like to invite those with the time and ability to go see Glenn Beck perform in his new The Christmas Sweater stage show through mid December. I truly believe that the message of this show will be something of personal and family value unlike anything you have experienced before.
If you cannot attend the show the book The Christmas Sweater is out tomorrow in major bookstores.
