The Golden Heart
It’s right there, only inches away, and yet you remain powerless to take hold of the matter and claim your riches. Or, is that not how you would react if your heart were actually made of solid gold.
Imagine it. The frustration of someone stuck in seemingly endless poverty with all that monetary value just out of grasp. To claim the riches would be to give up one’s life in exchange. An ultimate paradox to perplex those inclined to ponder a way or means to an end.
And yet, you walk around every day with a golden treasure hidden away within. Never thought of and in many instances never even considered.
You have great stored potential.
Knowledge, talents, skills, endurance, focus, the list goes on and on. If an emergency arises, you shift gears. Nature designed you that way. The brain speeds up and the body, adrenalized, springs into action.
That is then, this is now.
Most people go through their daily routine on autopilot. Even the people that seem very active only tap into a small portion of their total potential reserves and capabilities. Part of that is comfort and another part is lack of awareness and therefore, focus.
It’s not that we should all be bungee jumping each day, but rather that sharper focus and application of greater levels of skill, talent and energy potential definitely provide improved results.
So before you consider anything else, any program, first look within yourself and identify where the gold can be found. You’ll know it. Every person finds the answer on their own. It’s that special skill or talent, natural ability or knowledge you can share. It’s the gold that will lead you to the rainbow of satisfaction and fulfillment.
You don’t need a coach, mentor, guru or whatever to do this.
Find the golden heart hidden dormant within. Look at it from all angles and consider how and why you might best derive the value by sharing it with others. How can your golden heart help others progress and grow? Therein is your calling and success.
Once you find it, once you are absolutely certain to have identified your golden potential and have examined it from every angle, understanding it well…then you might consider asking for advice and direction.
Because no person, program, book, seminar or whatever can be truly effective unless you are well grounded in self understanding. You must know your talents, skills and strengths.
I’m reminded of a young man that struggled for years working tough jobs. He had resigned to the thought of living that way. That would be the pattern of his living existence, forever. Until he discovered a hidden latent talent and skill with airbrush painting quite by accident.
Life, the living experience was never the same.
He loved what he was doing, the requests and money poured in and his living experience and lifestyle blossomed into the full bloom of human satisfaction and fulfillment.
All because he stumbled upon his golden heart and converted it into value for others.
Find your golden heart. That’s the starting point.
